lololol tbh I had just assumed my complete inability to place Martinaise within Revachol within Insulide on a map was due to my general spatial problems, I can't place anywhere on a map or visualize anything, so it is fascinating to see you talk about it as a general experience of the game ... I also can't fit together the chaotic palimpsest of the history into a full narrative, for that matter, but that just means it conveys to me the same overwhelming sense of 'I can't possibly know and internalize all there is to know here' that real-world history does so for me that's extremely effective!
